Indoor Transparent Film Screen
Transparent LED film is a thin flexible display that sticks directly onto glass. SMD LED chips are mounted on a clear PET film with a self-adhesive backing - no cabinet, no steel frame, no drilling. The film is about 1-2 mm thick and weighs only a few kilograms per square meter. When powered off it looks like a light window tint; when on it plays full-color video at 3,000 nits brightness.
What is a transparent LED film screen?
Transparent LED film (also called crystal film screen, LED film, or self-adhesive transparent LED) is a flexible display built on a clear PET substrate. Unlike a conventional LED video wall made from heavy aluminum cabinets, the film is thin enough to stick onto existing storefront glass, shopping mall atriums, or office partitions. Standard pixel pitches are P3.91 (for 3-8 meter viewing), P6.25 (5-15 meter), and P10 (10-30 meter). Each film module is typically 1000 mm wide and 1000 mm or 2000 mm tall, tiled horizontally to any display width.
How it works
SMD1515 LED chips are mounted on a clear, flexible PET film at 3.91mm or 6.25mm spacing. The film has a 3M self-adhesive backing that sticks to clean glass. Connect a sending card and power supply (typically 5V or 12V). For a typical 3m x 1.5m window display you need one sending card, one receiving card (built into the film), and a power supply. Total power draw is about 500W per square meter at full white.
