Key Milestones in ONLY LED’s Evolution
2007 – The Beginning: Sun-Moon LED Billboard
ONLY LED introduced the 480x480mm plastic-housed LED cabinet, supporting pixel pitches of 60mm, 40mm, and 30mm. Its dual-use design allowed printed ads by day and LED video by night, laying the foundation for multi-functional LED billboards.
2009 – Full Video Era: 480x480mm Plastic Cabinets
Upgraded cabinets enabled full-motion video with finer pixel pitches (20mm–7.5mm). This marked a shift toward higher-resolution modular LED signage for outdoor displays.
2013 – A Breakthrough for the U.S. Market: V-Series (1x2ft Panels)
ONLY LED became the first company worldwide to design 1ft x 2ft LED panels. Tailored for the imperial system in the U.S., this innovation eliminated conversion issues and simplified retrofits for existing signs.
2015 – M-Series: Enhanced Resolution and Versatility
The M-Series pushed pixel pitches down to 3.81mm, unlocking finer resolution for broader applications in both indoor and outdoor use.
2016 – S-Series: Premium for Europe (360x720mm Cabinets)
Combining aluminum and plastic in a fanless, waterproof design, the S-Series delivered superior stability and thermal efficiency with a 5-year warranty. Certified with true CE EMC/LVD, it set new benchmarks in Europe.
2017 – U-Series: Rugged 1x2ft Aluminum Panels
The U-Series delivered ETL, CE EMC, and FCC certifications with robust weatherproofing and sleek design. Available in pixel pitches as fine as 3.81mm, it reinforced ONLY LED’s dominance in standardized modular LED signage.
2022 – Skyline Series (U-PRO): The Next Generation
ONLY LED launched the Skyline U-PRO Series, featuring:
CNC-machined aluminum profiles
Common cathode LEDs for lower power consumption
Advanced waterproofing and thermal control
Pixel pitches down to 2.38mm
Optional 6-year warranty
This series, including 1x2ft, 2x4ft, 3x4ft, and 1000x1000mm cabinets, is designed for schools, churches, retail, OOH billboards, and public signage.
